What is a Legacy Maker?
A Legacy Maker serves our church with the gift of giving.
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. ROMANS 12:6-8
Each member prayerfully commits to give over and above his or her tithe to impact eternity for generations to come—to leave a legacy.
Why do we need Legacy Makers?
Legacy Makers is an outlet for those who are called and equipped to finance the Kingdom of God and to leave a legacy. This team invests in strategic projects in our church, city, state, and nation, and in opportunities all around the world.
The Legacy Team focuses on projects in five areas:
The Source Church (building projects)
Local missions efforts (cities across the State of Georgia)
National missions efforts (launching and strengthening local churches)
International missions efforts (church planting and leadership development)
Who can be a part of the Legacy Makers?
The Legacy Makers is for anyone who feels called to give over and above their tithe. There is no specific amount because we consider any amount valuable and precious. As a church we are not built on the gifts and talents of a few, but on the sacrifices of many.
How do I become a Legacy Maker?
To become a Legacy Maker you must complete The Source Church Discover Class and register for a Legacy Maker area to give.
